Biz Talk Radio is waiting to be unleashed into the world. Watch this space.

The Show formula is not rigid and there are factors that I’ll explain in a minute that will control what is included and who might be presenting.

It is planned that each show will be sponsored and that there may be short adverts of no more than 4 minutes per show. The sponsor will have a say in the content but the programme controller will have the final word and edit all programme material We are looking for major Companies to sponsor and this will be a great branding tool that they can use in a number of ways. By having major sponsors it is felt that the growth will be accelerated because they will grow their own following for their show but listeners will also want to experience other segments.

Now what will the show include? Well we are going to have some regular segments that will play each day or on a particular day of the week. We’ll have news, views, interviews and reviews.

News. What’s happening that’ll affect your business. Who’se doing what, when and where. what new legislation will affect you and what you should be doing.

Views. We’ll include your comments on what is happening. Your reactions to hot topics. And your ideas on improving business

Interviews. We’ll be talking to leading people from every type of business. You’ll hear success stories and tales of woe.

Reviews. We’ll be reviewing the latest business books, office equipment, gadgets and franchises.

We’ll be covering everything that is important to the small business owner and manager in particular the three main arenas of finance, products & services and sales & marketing.

You’ll learn:
· How to tighten up your cashflow.
· How to enjoy and profit from networking
· Tips on letter and quotation writing
· Sales techniques that work
· Trademarks and Copyright
· Creative marketing
· Choosing products and services
· Types of Insurance including Professional indemnity and Public Liability
· Interviewing staff
· Blogs, Twitter, Linkedin & Facebook
· About Business Plans
· Discrimination of different types
· Turnover & profit
· Leadership and Management
· How to make a good presentation
· Health & Safety
· And much, much more.

We’ll be looking for regular contributors so if you have a speciality and want to take part just e-mail us and we’ll be pleased to talk. You’ll be ale to take part live from your office desk or on the move. You can pre-record some segments so that there is no reason not to be a part.

We have already secured some contributors who I know have really good stuff to talk about. There’s Rob Warlow who has a long banking history and has been one one the few good guys.

There’s Prab Chadha, of My Gadget Angel who can explain all the latest technology and how to work and use it.

We’ll have Andy Pearson, the MediaMaster who has experienced the sharp end of the newspaper business, having been an editor of newspaper about the size of that in your local town probably.

And of course myself, Mike Leahy, who’ll be running through a huge amount of marketing ideas and giving great sales skills tips. And we are looking to bring on board others who we know are knowledgeable and good presenters.

The show will be live at 11am, coffee time where you can phone in and talk, text or e-mail, write or twitter. We want your input and we will mould the programme to be what you want.

You’ll also be able to listen on demand whenever and wherever you have access to an internet connection or download as a mp3 podcast to listen to as you want.
